The trial over the murder of Nuray Serikbay continues in Shymkent. At the latest hearing, the results of an examination of a video recorded at the police station after the girl's abduction were announced. In the footage, she claims she has no complaints against the defendant, but experts have reached different conclusions, reports infohub.kz.
Judge Sammidin Temirlaev read out the findings of a psychological and criminalistic examination of the video in which Nuray says she went with Sherkhan Aymakhan voluntarily. Speech analysis showed that the girl was reading a pre-prepared text, either dictated by someone or after prior coaching.
"The account is presented coherently and logically. The speech contains complex syntactic structures typical of written language, with no spontaneous initiative in expressing her thoughts. The speech is delivered at a moderate pace, with distinct pauses and a calm, even tone. The experts concluded that the speech shows signs of prior deliberation and text preparation," Temirlaev read.
The experts' findings completely refute the testimony of former police officer Abilkazy Artykbay, who brought the girl to the station. Earlier in court, the ex-law enforcement officer claimed he did not prompt Nuray and that the text was not prepared in advance.
