The family of Nurtas and Gulzira Aidarbekov is celebrating a major event: their grandson has undergone the traditional Kazakh tusau kesu ceremony. The couple's daughter-in-law shared a video of the family celebration on social media, reports infohub.kz.

Indira Maulenova, the younger daughter-in-law of the Aidarbekov family, showed how her son's first birthday and the tusau kesu ceremony unfolded. Little Amre walked along a white path after his bonds were cut.

The toddler chose a wooden hammer — an item traditionally considered an attribute of justice and belonging to a judge.

"Congratulations on your first steps, son! May your road be clear, your life long, and your future bright. May every endeavor you undertake be for the good," the young mother wrote.

In honor of the little birthday boy, a beautiful cake was baked, guests arrived with gifts and could take commemorative photos. A bright photo zone with balloons was set up for this purpose.

Social media users congratulated Zangar and Indira on their son's birthday, as well as the grandparents — Gulzira and Nurtas Aidarbekov.
