Blogger and model Oksana Samoylova, a mother of four and the ex-wife of rapper Dzhigan, explained in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak why she put off divorce for so long, according to infohub.kz.

This spring, Dzhigan and Oksana Samoylova divorced after 13 years of marriage. Oksana admitted she long hesitated to divorce, above all to keep the family together.

"I'm a hardcore tolerator. Now, of course, I'm trying to work on that... It's definitely not because I'm afraid of being alone, definitely not because of money — it's for the sake of keeping the family together, for the children, one hundred percent. I was always in this borderline state, where on one side of the scale is you, your personality, your happiness, your sense of self, and on the other side is the whole family, the children who are used to living in a complete family, who are used to absolutely everything and are living their best life with pink unicorns. I endured for the sake of the family — one hundred percent. If I choose something, I want to be responsible for my choice to the end; I'm embarrassed to admit that choice was wrong," she said.

Oksana Samoylova's mother told Sobchak she had long advised her daughter to divorce. "I told my daughter: 'Pick up your feet and run. That's it, forget it, close the door. People don't change in that regard. Four children, but we'll manage. I told her she had to run, not remember it like a bad dream,'" her mother said on the program "Caution: Sobchak."

She did not disclose the reasons but admitted she worried about her daughter and grandchildren. "He has bipolar disorder. He changes before your eyes — one moment, and he's a different person, so you don't understand what to expect from him. And living as if on a powder keg is impossible," Samoylova's mother noted.

Recall that it recently became known that rapper Dzhigan took hostages and opened fire in his own home. However, his lawyer Sergey Zhorin said the accusations of shooting and hostage-taking are lies. According to Russian media, Oksana Samoylova intends to restrict Dzhigan's parental rights.
