Oksana Samoylova, the ex-wife of rapper Dzhigan, has filed a lawsuit in Moscow's Savyolovsky District Court seeking to restrict the artist's parental rights, infohub.kz reports.
The news was first reported by the major Russian Telegram channel SHOT. According to the channel, in her lawsuit the blogger also requests that the couple's minor children be allowed to live with her.
Neither Oksana Samoylova nor her ex-husband has commented on the lawsuit so far.
Earlier, the lawyer for Dzhigan's ex-wife had already addressed the question of possibly stripping the rapper of his parental rights.
Recall that on September 23, media reported that Dzhigan allegedly took hostages and opened fire in his own home. It was claimed that on the night of July 3-4, he supposedly summoned his household staff and confronted them with a weapon in hand.
Reports said he allegedly accused the employees of crimes and offered them a chance to confess in order to save their lives, and also opened fire.
Later, Dzhigan stated that media and social media reports about the incident were untrue. The rapper denies opening fire on the staff. At the same time, the artist confirmed that he is currently in a rehabilitation center.
Soon after, Russian police launched an investigation following reports of shooting and hostage-taking at rapper Dzhigan's home.
