American rapper and producer Sean Combs, known as P. Diddy, has had his release date from prison pushed back again. He is now scheduled to be released on February 20, 2028, according to infohub.kz.
The celebrity is serving time for involvement in prostitution. Jurors acquitted him on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. In October 2025, the rapper was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. His lawyers immediately filed appeals, and P. Diddy himself asked Donald Trump for clemency.
As a result, the singer's prison term has been changed several times. Initially, he was to be released in June 2028. The appellate court has reduced the sentence multiple times. Most recently, just a week ago, January 2028 was mentioned, meaning the rapper could have been released six months earlier.
Now, however, as People.com reports citing the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the release date is set for February 20, 2028. The extension is likely due to a fight Combs had with another inmate in July.
