Actress Pamela Anderson returned to her family estate on Vancouver Island in 2020 and planted a garden there, sharing its harvest for free with local residents and charities, according to infohub.kz.
According to People, the star restored an abandoned plot that once belonged to her grandfather. Together with her sons Brandon and Dylan, she built large wooden raised beds. In the garden, the actress grows heirloom tomato varieties, pumpkins, corn, herbs, and berries. Part of the harvest is regularly sent to food banks, free kitchens for those in need, schools, churches, and neighbors.
In addition to vegetables, Anderson cultivates Yves Piaget roses and gathers rose hips, from which she makes natural oils and facial skincare products. In 2024, the actress released a cookbook based on plant-based ingredients, inspired by the harvest from her own garden.
Anderson admits that working the land helps her regain strength and stay connected to home after filming and traveling. According to her, returning to the family plot and setting up the garden marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
