A passenger on the Almaty-Astana flight expressed dissatisfaction on social media with FlyArystan's rules, which caused a two-hour delay. The incident occurred due to one passenger exceeding the hand luggage allowance, reports infohub.kz.

On the social network Threads, a user under the handle elmara_duisenbayeva complained about the two-hour delay of a FlyArystan flight caused by issues with one passenger's hand luggage. According to her, due to an excess weight of 400 grams, the entire plane, carrying over 200 people, was held on board for nearly 50 minutes, and the flight itself was delayed by two hours. The passenger paid a fine of 11,000 tenge for the excess, but after that, everyone was disembarked and sent through security again. At 00:50, it was announced that the flight would depart at 01:30, but the re-screening had not even started by then. The author of the post also noted that she received an SMS from the airline in which the carrier effectively disclaims responsibility.

In the comments under the post, FlyArystan's press service clarified the situation. On August 24, before the departure of flight FS7063 on the Almaty-Astana route, a passenger violated the established carriage rules and engaged in undisciplined behavior. The aircraft commander decided to refuse carriage to this passenger to ensure flight safety. Due to the removal of the passenger from the flight, in accordance with aviation security requirements, a full disembarkation of passengers and a repeat pre-flight screening of the aircraft were conducted. After the necessary procedures were completed, passengers were invited to board again. As a result, the departure was delayed by 1 hour and 52 minutes.

FlyArystan apologized to passengers for the forced wait and the inconvenience caused by the delay, emphasizing that these measures are mandatory to ensure flight safety.
