Czech-born supermodel Paulina Porizkova has announced her marriage and shared wedding photos, reports infohub.kz.
The 61-year-old model, actress, and writer posted the images on Instagram, including one showing her with her husband and many guests. For the ceremony, Porizkova wore a sheer gray-lilac dress with a plunging neckline. "Finally I can start sharing all this," she wrote.
Under the post, users showered her with compliments and well-wishes: "Much love to you both," "Wishing you all the happiness in the world," "Most beautiful bride, congratulations," "I am so happy for you," "Paulina looks absolutely stunning! And the dress! What a design," "Congratulations to a woman who so deserves love."
Last year, the model had already announced her upcoming marriage, showing off her engagement ring. Her chosen one is 63-year-old screenwriter and director Jeff Greenstein.
According to her biography, Paulina Porizkova was born on April 9, 1965, in Prostejov, Czechoslovakia. When she was young, her parents fled the country to Sweden, leaving her with her grandmother, hoping to later take her, but due to the political situation, it was difficult. The family was reunited only six years later — requiring intervention from Swedish authorities.
Porizkova became one of the first models to achieve superstar status in the early 1980s. Twice — in 1990 and 1992 — People magazine included her on its list of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. She was previously married to musician Ric Ocasek; they had two children together.
