Pavlodar once again amazed residents and guests of the city: the large-scale auto festival LowKZMeet, held with the support of the akimat, brought together more than 150 exclusive cars from all over Kazakhstan and tens of thousands of spectators. Admission to the event, usually paid, this time became a free gift for all visitors, reports the website infohub.kz.
LowKZMeet has been held in Kazakhstan for ten years now. As the organizers told, the festival originated spontaneously: initially everything was illegal, but over time the event grew into a big celebration for fans of bright car shows.
"For the first time in 10 years, the auto festival is held in Pavlodar with the support of the city akimat. I would even say - on the initiative of the city mayor Khasar Khabylbekov. At the event, we gathered more than 150 bright and exclusive cars from different regions of Kazakhstan. Participants came to show their cars and driving skills. Among them are professional drifters who organized drift taxi for all visitors," noted the founder and chief organizer of the LowKZMeet auto festival, Darkhan Iskakov.
The organizers emphasize that the festival pursues several goals. First of all, it is the creation of a big holiday with a bright show for visitors. Interest in the event is shown by various segments of the population. In addition, athletes can here "let off steam" without violating rules on city streets. Promoting driving culture and compliance with traffic rules is one of the key tasks of the festival.
Pavlodar athletes annually participate in such shows in other cities. In Pavlodar there are many professional drifters capable of showing a real show. LowKZMeet was attended by 17-year-old Temirlan, who has been behind the wheel since the age of 9. The young man surprised spectators with his driving style, performing a drift show in a Zhiguli, not a BMW like many others.
"I participate in local competitions: drift, drift taxi, rally, winter drift - I try to participate everywhere. I don't have a license yet, only here I can drive on certain sites. But my father supports me and brings me. I built the car myself," shared Pavlodar resident Tamerlan Seitkazinov.
The festival featured several venues: an exhibition of rare cars, children's zones, PlayStation games. Guests could take a ride on drift taxi. The idea was also supported by the akim of Pavlodar region Asain Baikhanov, who also became a passenger in the drift show.
"Thanks to the organizers, the headliners of the evening - the Omerta association, participants and all guests who came to us from different cities of Kazakhstan and other countries. You gave Pavlodar residents a bright holiday, great mood and unforgettable emotions," thanked the mayor of Pavlodar Khasar Khabylbekov.
As part of the auto festival, streetball and FIFA 2026 tournaments were also held. The event lasted all day and gathered tens of thousands of Pavlodar residents and guests of the city, becoming one of the brightest events of the outgoing summer.
Usually the festival is paid, ticket prices start from 8-10 thousand tenge. However, in Pavlodar everything was organized with the support of the akimat and sponsors. The headliners of the holiday were Truwer, Niman, Captown and Exi.
