A joyride with singing and wind in the hair ended with fines for a driver and passenger from Pavlodar, reports infohub.kz.
Police discovered a video on social media showing a passenger in a Geely car leaning out of the front window while the vehicle was moving. In the clip, the man is seen singing while hanging out of the window.
"During the investigation, police identified the driver and passenger. The driver was charged with violating passenger transport regulations, and the passenger was also held accountable for breaking traffic rules," said Medkhat Zhylkybayev, acting deputy commander of the patrol police battalion of Pavlodar Police Department.
Police emphasized that such behavior endangers the passenger's life and health and could cause a traffic accident. The department urged all road users to follow traffic rules and avoid putting themselves and others at risk.
