In Kostanay, a 70-year-old pensioner has been held accountable for threatening and insulting a medical worker, reports infohub.kz.
The incident occurred at the medic's workplace. The woman posted a video on social media showing an unknown man shouting obscenities and threats at her: 'You'll get it one day! I'll knock your head off! I'll kill you!'.
Officers of the Kostanay Regional Police Department quickly identified the offender. He turned out to be a 70-year-old local resident. Police explained that the man was held accountable for showing disrespect to others, using foul language, offensive harassment, humiliating honor and dignity, and other actions disrupting public order.
Law enforcement stressed that aggression, insults and threats against medical workers, as well as any other citizens, are unacceptable and entail liability under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
