The U.S. Department of Defense has declassified another batch of documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena, including 16 video recordings, reports infohub.kz.
On the Pentagon's official website, a collection of new materials related to unidentified flying objects has been published. The department clarified that the data pertains to unresolved cases, meaning the government cannot draw definitive conclusions about the nature of the observed phenomena. In addition to various documents and photographs, 16 videos were released, some of which are said to have been filmed in the Middle East. One recording shows a sphere flying over residential buildings.
Social media also reported that among the new files is a pilot's report about a massive triangular object that allegedly obscured the stars over Afghanistan in 2002.
Recall that the discussion about aliens arose in American media after former U.S. President Barack Obama appeared on a podcast in February. When asked by the host whether he believed in extraterrestrial civilizations, Obama replied that "they exist, but he has never seen them." This answer drew public attention.
Subsequently, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that U.S. intelligence agencies would declassify all data on extraterrestrial civilizations.
