Trilateral talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine aimed at settling the conflict will take place on November 10–11 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The date was confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the Russian president, according to infohub.kz.

"Yes, I can confirm that date. Indeed, the Russian delegation will arrive in Abu Dhabi on November 10–11 and will take part in the trilateral talks," he told journalists when asked to confirm the information.

The Kremlin spokesman was also asked whether the head of state planned to meet members of the Russian delegation before they departed for Abu Dhabi. "I can't tell you yet — there are no precise plans so far, but in general almost all members of the Russian delegation already report regularly to the president on current issues and receive appropriate instructions from the head of state," Peskov replied.

Earlier, Peskov had spoken about preparations for a trilateral meeting of the leaders of the United States, China and Russia. It was reported that Russia, the United States and China had allowed for the possibility of holding a trilateral meeting at which the situation in Ukraine would presumably be discussed.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha believes that a possible meeting between Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping would not help end the war. US President Donald Trump said he was ready for a trilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, adding that it could take place in China.

Later, Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian president, said a trilateral meeting of the leaders of the United States, Russia and China could take place in November in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The United Nations, for its part, supported a possible meeting of the leaders of Russia, China and the United States.
