In the Turkistan region, police chased down a car with fake license plates on the Almaty-Tashkent-Termez highway, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Polisia.kz, the police digital system detected a Toyota Camry with a fake state license plate on the Almaty-Tashkent-Termez road. The information was relayed to a patrol unit.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver ignored the lawful order and tried to flee. The patrol officers quickly apprehended the offender. It was established that behind the wheel was a 26-year-old native and resident of the village of Zhana Turmys, Saryagash district.
The violator was brought to administrative responsibility under several articles, including for using a fake state license plate, driving without documents, and disobeying a lawful order of a police officer. By court decision, he was arrested for five days. Additionally, he was fined 40 MCI (173,000 tenge). The car was seized and impounded.
