In the West Kazakhstan Region, a family with children survived thanks to the vigilance of a local police inspector who noticed a fire in time and woke the sleeping residents, reports infohub.kz.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on the night of September 1 in the village of Kyrkopa, Zhanagala district. During patrol, local inspector Nurlubai Nurmukhanov noticed thick smoke rising over one of the houses.

At about 4:30 a.m., the police officer immediately headed to the scene. Upon arrival, he saw that a barn for livestock, located right next to the residential house, was on fire, and the flames had already begun to spread towards the dwelling.

Without wasting time, the policeman woke the residents and helped them, along with their children, leave the danger zone. Before the firefighters arrived, he, together with the homeowners, led the livestock out of the burning barn and took measures to contain the fire using sand, preventing it from spreading to the residential building.

The homeowner, Yeskali Muratov, expressed gratitude to the rescuer: "If Nurlubai had not come and woken us up, I don't know what could have happened to us and our children. Our family is immensely grateful to him."

Thus, the family managed to avoid tragedy, and the residential house and property were saved from the fire.
