Kazakhstan hosted its second Porsche Experience, fully dedicated to sporty driving. Instead of long routes, it was all about the race track, speed, and a dozen fast cars. A journalist from Kursiv Avto tested all the vehicles at the Sokol International Circuit, reports infohub.kz.

In September 2025, Porsche held its first global Experience program in Kazakhstan, combining track sessions with a trip to the Charyn Canyon. In 2026, the format changed: Porsche Track Experience Kazakhstan was entirely focused on sporty driving.

At the Sokol Technical Circuit near Almaty, journalists, bloggers, and clients gathered. The sessions were led by four certified Porsche instructors from Germany and Kazakhstan. The program included Launch Control starts, high-speed slalom, braking, handling exercises, and laps on the 4.5 km track with 13 turns.

The main highlight was the fully electric Porsche Cayenne Electric. In its Turbo Electric version, the powertrain delivers up to 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm, accelerating the SUV to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

Also hitting the track were gasoline, hybrid, and electric models, including the Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne S E-Hybrid, Panamera GTS, two Macans with internal combustion engines, and the battery-powered Macan Turbo.

For enthusiasts of true sports cars, there was the 718 Spyder RS with a 500-hp naturally aspirated flat-six, the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package, and the Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo.

The latter produces up to 884 hp with Overboost and Launch Control, while the Taycan Turbo GT can briefly deliver 1,108 hp. Its sprint to 100 km/h takes just 2.2 seconds.

On paper, the numbers are impressive, but it's much more interesting to feel the difference between models directly on the track. The same circuit reveals the Macan GTS, 718 Spyder RS, and 911 GT3 in completely different ways – from a relatively versatile crossover to a machine that literally begs to go faster.

The Kursiv Avto journalist managed to test all the vehicles in the program. The Macan GTS, 718 Spyder RS, and 911 GT3 left the strongest impressions.

Moreover, Porsche Track Experience is not just about the chance to speed. The format allows you to switch from one car to another and almost immediately compare their character, all-wheel drive, brakes, and active systems.

In the end, the second Porsche Experience in Kazakhstan turned out to be quite different from last year's. Instead of a nearly 500-kilometer route, it was one day on a race track. Yet the set of cars was enough to see almost the entire modern Porsche philosophy in a few hours – from powerful gasoline models to electric vehicles that can accelerate faster than many supercars.
