Electricity in Almaty's Bostandyk district was restored after an emergency outage, reports infohub.kz.
The press service of Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy explained that on July 15 a temporary outage occurred in the microdistricts of Askar Tau and Ermensai.
The cause was a technical fault at customer transformer substations, which led to the disconnection of the company's networks.
"The operational staff performed the necessary switching, as a result of which consumers of Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy JSC have been connected, and power supply is operating normally," the company said.
However, three customer substations remain without power: TP-8528, TP-5798, and TP-5799. The balance holder has been notified. Connection of these facilities will be carried out by its personnel, as it is responsible for network operation.
Earlier, the company's emergency map showed outages in several districts of Almaty. The following areas were without power: Ryskulov Avenue, Zhangeldin Street, Bayanaulskaya Street, Shemyakina Street, Serikova Street, Omarova Street, Zhansugurova Street, Artilleriyskaya Street, the microdistricts of Askar Tau and Ermensai, Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard, Zharokova Street, Basenova Street, Baizakova Street, Abai Avenue, Masanchi Street, Zhambyla Street, Adi Sharipova Street, Polezhaeva Lane, Raiymbek Avenue, and 2nd Goncharnaya Street. The cause was being determined at the time, and restoration was expected within three hours.
