Charles Spencer, Earl and brother of Princess Diana, has disclosed new details about his sister's life ahead of the release of his book "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister." As HELLO! writes, in his book Spencer recounts the painful words Prince Charles said about Diana's figure. At the time, wrapping his arm around her waist, the heir to the throne remarked: "Oh, a bit chubby here, aren't we?"
Spencer noted that this comment struck Diana hard. Between the engagement and the wedding, her waist shrank from 29 to 23.5 inches.
Later, in audio recordings for Andrew Morton's biography, the princess herself admitted that it was precisely these words from her fiancé and his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles that triggered the bulimia she battled for nearly a decade.
