Charles Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana, has written a book about his sister, her marriage to Prince Charles, and life in the royal family after her death, reports infohub.kz.
The memoir, titled "Swan Song," will go on sale in the UK on September 22. Spencer admitted that ahead of the 30th anniversary of Diana's tragic death, he was inundated with requests from journalists for interviews about her. "This convinced me to put down my thoughts and memories once and for all, so as not to feel awkward reading the opinions of others again, many of which are based on untruths that have become accepted over time," Spencer said.
The book's aim, Spencer said, is "to tell the truth about Diana from her brother's perspective." "As I tried to do when speaking at her funeral. As with my eulogy, I want to speak on behalf of Diana and do so in a frankly positive way," he said.
