The body of 18-year-old Azamat Duisekhanov, who disappeared while celebrating his birthday with friends, was found near the coast of Aktau, reports the website 24KZ.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of the Mangystau Region, a search and rescue operation was conducted on an unguarded section of the Caspian Sea coast. The teenager's body was found on July 15 about 51 kilometers from Aktau, roughly 10 meters from the shore.
Rescuers recovered the body from the water and handed it over to police officers.
Duisekhanov went missing on the afternoon of July 7 near the O'Mir resort hotel. That day he turned 18 years old.
