The search for an 18-year-old man who went missing on July 14 in Kostanay has ended with the discovery of his body. The young man's remains were found with no signs of violent death, according to infohub.kz.
On July 15, the search team "Region 10" reported on Instagram that an 18-year-old had disappeared in Kostanay. Relatives said he left home at 6:00 p.m. and stopped answering calls.
The Police Department of Kostanay Region stated that a missing person case had been opened regarding the disappearance of the young man born in 2008.
"During operational search activities, the body of the missing person was found in the Tobol River near the Central Bridge, with no visible signs of violent death. A full range of necessary investigative measures is currently underway to determine all the circumstances of the incident," the police said in a statement.
It was noted that a final legal assessment will be made based on the results of the investigation.
