Meteorologists forecast a drop in air temperatures across most of Kazakhstan over the coming days, from August 15 to 17, according to infohub.kz.

According to the Kazhydromet forecast, with the passage of atmospheric fronts, most of the country will see rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hail. Only in the west and in the Kyzylorda region will it be dry. Additionally, fog is possible at night and in the morning in the west, northwest, north, and center of the country.

Heavy rain is expected on August 15 in the Kostanay region, on August 15-16 in the North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions, and on August 16 in the Pavlodar region.

As for temperatures, in the west, daytime highs will rise from 18-26°C to 25-33°C. In the Aktobe region, no significant changes are expected, with temperatures remaining around 20-30°C.

Temperature drops are expected in the following regions:

In the Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions, nighttime temperatures will fall from 15-20°C to 7-12°C, and daytime from 20-30°C to 15-20°C.

In the Akmola and Pavlodar regions, nighttime temperatures will drop from 15-20°C to 10-15°C, and daytime from 30-35°C to 17-25°C.

In central and eastern regions, the intense heat will subside. In the southern parts of these regions, daytime temperatures will decrease from 40-41°C to 23-33°C.

In southern Kazakhstan, the extreme heat of 38-44°C will ease to 30-37°C.

In the southeast, temperatures will drop from 40-43°C to 30-36°C.
