The British manufacturer of premium SUVs has unveiled its first fully electric Range Rover. The new model retains the conservative design and off-road capabilities, but features a 550-horsepower powertrain, a 118.5 kWh battery, and a range of up to 598 km, according to infohub.kz.
The electric Range Rover is built on the same flexible architecture as the hybrid versions, but offers a fundamentally different level of cabin quietness. Two electric motors deliver a combined 850 Nm, propelling the SUV from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
Thanks to an 800-volt system and a 118.5 kWh battery, a charge from 10% to 80% can be completed in just 22 minutes using a 350 kW terminal. The WLTP range reaches up to 598 km.
Moreover, the vehicle has not lost its signature off-road prowess. It can ford water obstacles up to 900 mm deep. The traction control system reacts to wheel slip in 50 milliseconds – 100 times faster than in internal combustion engine vehicles. A special mode allows smooth climbing on slopes up to 45 degrees.

Externally, the electric Range Rover differs from internal combustion engine versions only by an optimized radiator grille, a closed underbody, and special alloy wheels. Inside, there are new Ultrafabrics and Kvadrat materials, as well as an updated app for remote climate and charging control.
Orders are already open, and production has been set up at the brand's historic factory in Solihull, UK.
