Raushan, the younger sister of renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen, recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband. To mark the occasion, she shared memories of how her luxurious outfit for the 'kyz uzatu' ceremony was created, reports infohub.kz.
Raushan Kudaibergen appeared as a charming bride in a stunning dress in the Kazakh national style. A team led by famous Kazakh designer Azamat Argimbaev worked on this masterpiece. As Raushan herself admitted, she had always dreamed of a red wedding costume, because for Kazakhs this color has special significance - it symbolizes joy and life.
'Azamat Argimbaev and I immediately understood that it would not be just a dress, but our joint author's work,' Raushan recalled. The outfit was decorated with Kazakh ornaments and encrusted with precious stones. The camisole with a long train, according to the girl, weighed almost 20 kilograms. The bride wanted gold and silver to harmoniously combine: the golden threads of the patterns perfectly complemented her silver jewelry and belt.
Special attention was paid to the saukele - the traditional bride's headdress, which was impeccable, like the entire image as a whole. The groom's costume, by design, was made in a modern style, but with elements of the traditional Kazakh costume. Raushan wanted it to be light and match her outfit. Designer Meruert Balmanova worked on the groom's costume.
'My dress for uzatu was created from scratch, with every detail thought out for months. Now, when I see its various variations, I joyfully observe how the creation we brought to life continues to live in this way. But the original - with its own history and every tiny detail - will forever remain in my heart and only with me,' Raushan noted.
