Red Bull Wings Cup is a new EA SPORTS FC™ 27 tournament that gives everyday players the chance to compete for a spot representing their country on the world stage, according to infohub.kz.
The competition will take place in nearly 80 countries, including Kazakhstan, in partnership with EA SPORTS and PlayStation. Red Bull Wings Cup invites players of all skill levels — they can take part from home or at university campuses.
Only the best players will earn a place in the National Final and a chance to represent Kazakhstan at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final, set to be held at Inter Miami Nu Stadium in Miami, USA, in early 2027.
The unique world final will bring together competitive gaming and real-world football events: finalists will battle for the title of the first-ever Red Bull Wings Cup champion.
The road to the final begins with registration in one of two leagues. The University League is for students currently enrolled at universities. Participants will compete on PlayStation® 5 consoles in university qualifiers against other students from across the country. The Open League lets players enter PlayStation Tournaments from their own PlayStation 5 consoles and take part in online competition using their own squad in EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Team.
Red Bull Wings Cup is open to everyone aged 18 and over who is a current resident of Kazakhstan. The best players from the Open and University leagues will advance to their respective National Finals. The winners of the National Finals will earn the right to represent their country at the World Final in Miami.
Beyond the tournament, a limited-edition series of Red Bull Wings Cup cans will be released worldwide. Each can will allow eligible participants to unlock in-game rewards in EA SPORTS FC™ 27 and enter a draw to win a trip to watch the World Final in Miami. This gives players even more ways to become part of Red Bull Wings Cup — no matter where they play.
Red Bull Wings Cup is held in partnership with EA SPORTS and PlayStation® Tournaments. Registration is now open at the link.
