The incident occurred in the Ayusai Gorge in the Bostandyk district. The teens could not continue the descent on their own, but communication and geolocation were maintained.

Rescuers from the Republican Rescue Service "Barys" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan were involved in the search and rescue operation. They set out on foot from the Kosmostation towards the specified geolocation and found the teens in the Ayusai Gorge, according to the report.

The young people did not need medical assistance. Rescuers escorted them along the mountain route to the Kosmostation and then delivered them to a safe place. The teens were safely handed over to their relatives.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends considering the difficulty of the route before going to mountainous areas, assessing your strength objectively, having a charged phone and a supply of water, and informing relatives about the planned route in advance. In case of an emergency, call 112, the ministry added.
