Rinat Mukhametkali has been appointed to a new position in the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. The corresponding decree was signed by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports infohub.kz.
According to Akorda, Mukhametkali Rinat Zakiuly has been appointed as the Head of the General Department of the Presidential Administration. Previously, he served as the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
Rinat Mukhametkali was born in 1981 and graduated from M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz State University with a degree in law. He began his career in various organizations, and in 2004 he joined the Ministry of Justice, where over six years he rose from a leading specialist to deputy director of a department.
Much of his professional career has been linked to the Presidential Administration: from 2010 to 2021 he worked in the department for civil service and personnel policy, and in 2022–2023 he headed the secretariat of the head of the administration. Before returning to Akorda for his current position, Mukhametkali also led the apparatus of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, and since January 2023 he has served as deputy akim of Kostanay region.
