King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh came under attack again on Sunday, with Saudi authorities reporting casualties as damage assessments continued, according to infohub.kz.

CBS News reports that the second attack on the passenger terminal in a short period came after Yemen's Houthi movement said it had carried out at least four operations against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh since Saturday.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Houthis' military wing, said the actions were a response to steps by Saudi Arabia, which he said had launched more than 120 airstrikes on Yemeni territory over the past day.

Earlier, it was reported that at least 12 people were killed and another 309 wounded in an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Responsibility for the incident has been placed on Yemen's Houthis, who fired a missile at the facility. Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry later said whether citizens of the republic were among the dead.
