A serious road accident in the Pavlodar region has left nine people injured, including six children. The incident occurred on the night of July 31 to August 1 on the Ekibastuz-Pavlodar highway, where a car driver lost control, veered into a ditch, and overturned, according to infohub.kz.

According to Pavlodarnews.kz, three ambulance crews arrived at the scene promptly. Nine people were injured: three adults and six children. One man refused medical examination, while the others – a woman, a man, two boys, and four girls – were hospitalized with various injuries at Ekibastuz City Hospital.

Later, it was determined that three children and the adults were discharged for outpatient treatment after examination. However, an 11-year-old child was placed in intensive care, where doctors diagnosed a closed head injury, closed chest trauma, and multiple abrasions. After his condition stabilized, the boy was transferred to the trauma department. His condition is assessed as moderate severity.
