In the second round of the Saudi Pro League, the Riyadh derby ended in a resounding 4-0 victory for Al-Nassr over Al-Riyadh, reports infohub.kz.
The match took place at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. Goals for the visitors came from defender Abdullela Al-Amri (18th minute), Brazilian forward Gabriel Angelo (45+1), and Portuguese strikers Joao Felix (58) and Cristiano Ronaldo (84).
Al-Nassr's captain was included in the matchday squad for the first time this season. Ronaldo started on the bench and came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute. The 41-year-old scored his 977th career goal.
Earlier, Al-Nassr played two matches without Ronaldo—one in the league and one in the Saudi Cup—and both also ended in lopsided wins.
The defending champions top the league table with a perfect six points. Al-Riyadh, after two defeats, sit in last place, 18th.
