According to the Times of India, Messi and Ronaldo have been the main rivals in world football for nearly two decades. They have faced each other 37 times, and their names have been constantly compared. Now, fans will have a unique opportunity to see them on the same team.
Both players have received invitations to the testimonial match of Carlos Tevez, the former Argentina and Manchester United striker. Tevez plans to hold a grand event with his former teammates and friends at the iconic La Bombonera stadium at the end of this year.
Tevez has expressed his desire to see Messi and Ronaldo in the same team. It is worth noting that the Argentine ended his professional career in 2021 while playing for Boca Juniors, and only five years later is he ready to celebrate the occasion.
