A man in Kostanay Region has been held administratively liable for intentionally damaging another person's property — a car, the website infohub.kz reports.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Kostanay Region courts, the specialized administrative offenses court of the city of Rudny heard a case against a man over the intentional damage of another person's property (Part 1 of Article 147-1 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses).
According to the case file, on August 2, 2026, in Rudny, the man, while intoxicated, intentionally damaged another person's car, leaving a dent on the right side of the frame. The unlawful actions caused the victim material damage amounting to 218,000 tenge.
During the court hearing, the man did not admit guilt in committing the administrative offense, explaining that he had only kicked the car's wheel to trigger the alarm.
After reviewing the case materials, the court found his guilt fully proven by the body of evidence collected: the victim's statement and testimony, video recordings from a door intercom camera and a police officer's body camera, as well as the results of a medical examination that established the man had a moderate degree of intoxication.
In imposing the administrative penalty, the court took into account the nature of the offense, the offender's character, and the presence of an aggravating circumstance — committing the administrative offense while intoxicated. The court found no mitigating circumstances.
At the same time, it was taken into account that the man had not previously been held administratively liable and has a permanent place of work.
By court order, the man was found guilty of the administrative offense and fined 216,260 tenge. The order has entered into legal force.
