After a brief pause, Ukraine has resumed attacks on Russian oil refineries, Russian officials said, according to infohub.kz.

Journalist Pavel Zarubin published a statement on his Telegram channel from Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian president, saying Ukraine had "disobeyed Trump" on the issue of strikes against oil refineries.

"Yes, once again they disobeyed and simply, I would say, ignore even him. Although Trump was persistent on this issue and continues to be persistent, they do not listen," Putin's aide said.

Ushakov suggested that Kyiv was acting so "boldly" because Europe continues to support Ukraine.

According to TASS, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak also reported the resumption of strikes on Russian refineries. He said three oil refineries and one gas chemical complex were attacked today.

Recall that in September it was reported that Trump had asked the Ukrainian leader to stop attacks on refineries in Russia. Zelensky refused at the time.

In October, US President Donald Trump said that Russia and Ukraine had allegedly agreed to an energy truce.

However, Vladimir Zelensky later said that 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 strike drones and unmanned combat vehicles had been used against energy facilities and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region and Kharkiv. According to him, Russia "has never before shown such blatant disrespect for the United States."

And Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that the agreements on an energy truce between Russia and Ukraine "have not yet been specified." Media later learned that the Ukrainian president may agree to suspend strikes on Russian energy facilities if one condition is met.
