A significant drop in meat production within Russia has negatively impacted the aggregated statistics of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), affecting member nations including Kazakhstan and others.
Overall Decline in Meat Production
In January of this year, Russia's meat output fell by 0.3% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 1.58 million tons. Notably, all other EAEU member countries experienced growth in their meat production during the same period.

Russia's meat production saw a 1.1% decrease compared to the corresponding period last year. In contrast, other nations within the union have reported positive trends.
