Thanks to this result, the Kazakhstani athlete will debut at the top of the Women's Tennis Association rankings and officially become the world No. 1 after the Grand Slam tournament concludes.

Earlier, Rybakina herself commented on her result for the first time, emphasizing that she is trying to focus on her next US Open match. In the semifinals, the Kazakhstani will face either American Coco Gauff or Russian Mirra Andreeva.
