Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka began her US Open campaign with a defeat, but she drew attention not only for her result but also for her appearance. As Page Six writes, for the match Sabalenka chose the Silhouette Suite from American jewelry brand Material Good. It includes a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. The necklace alone contains 83.20 carats of sapphires, tourmaline, garnets, zircon, spinel, chrysoberyl, and tanzanite. Another 28.36 carats go to the bracelet and 15.58 carats to the earrings.
The set was created specifically for Sabalenka's performance at the US Open. According to Material Good, the design is inspired by New York City—its vibrant colors and cultural diversity. All pieces are made of 18-karat gold. The brand does not disclose the price of this particular set. On the Material Good website, it is noted that the jewelry is no longer available for purchase, and the price of custom pieces depends on the characteristics of the stones and materials.
The Sun previously wrote about her look at the French Open in May 2026. Two necklaces and earrings from the same Material Good were valued at approximately £76,000 (about 47.8 million tenge). The set included 15.6 carats of diamonds and 136.5 carats of garnets. Sabalenka decided not to wear a third necklace worth £34,000 (about 21.4 million tenge).
