Kazakhstan's Electronic Labor Exchange currently lists 105,907 active vacancies. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has identified the specialists offered the highest salaries, reports infohub.kz.
According to data published on the ministry's official website, in August employers posted 131,600 vacancies on the Enbek.kz platform, a 25.8% increase compared to July. Job seekers also became more active: the number of resumes posted reached 145,200, up 2.8% from the previous month.
The ministry noted that the largest number of vacancies in August was in education, with 61,000 offers, reflecting the need for staff before the start of the school year. Significant numbers of vacancies were also posted in other services, healthcare and social assistance, manufacturing, agriculture, forestry and fishing, and construction.
In terms of age, job seekers under 35 dominate. Resumes from those aged 35-44 accounted for 25.8%, 45-54 for 14.6%, and over 55 for 6.7%. By gender, women posted 60.6% of resumes, men 39.4%.
In August, Enbek.kz featured vacancies with salaries above 1 million tenge. These include a shift supervisor in mining with pay of about 2.06 million tenge, a cybersecurity specialist at about 2 million tenge, and a mine director at about 1.63 million tenge. The highest salary expectations among job seekers were for heads of administrative departments at about 2.02 million tenge, project managers for new product development at about 1.84 million tenge, and sales masters at about 1.75 million tenge.
By skill level, August vacancies were distributed as follows: 46.6% for high-skilled specialists, 33.1% for medium-skilled, and 20.3% for low-skilled. Among resumes posted, 46.5% were from high-skilled specialists, 35.5% from medium-skilled, and 18% from low-skilled.
