In the Almaty region, employers are ready to pay up to 1.25 million tenge per month to qualified specialists. The highest salary is offered to the head of the legal department at one of the institutions in the region, reports infohub.kz.

For a number of managerial positions and highly qualified personnel, income reaches 1 million tenge. These include chief accountant, department head, chief mechanic, and chief technologist for the project.

High salaries are also offered in the healthcare sector. A general surgeon can earn up to 950,000 tenge, while a chief physician or head of a medical institution can earn up to 877,000 tenge.

Technical specialists are also in demand. Chief engineers, surveyors, loader operators, pickers, and warehouse managers are offered from 600,000 to 700,000 tenge.

The high demand for personnel in the region is linked to the opening of new production facilities and the development of the construction, agricultural, transport, and logistics sectors.

"The region is seeing high demand for qualified personnel. This is due to the opening of new production facilities and the active development of the construction, agricultural, transport, and logistics sectors. As a result, the labor market is beginning to experience a shortage of specialists," the regional administration noted.

According to experts, in the coming years the Almaty region will need more than 26,000 specialists. This year, the highest demand is in the construction sector, where 661 specialists are needed. Agriculture requires 557 workers, industry and manufacturing 333, transport and logistics 246, and housing and utilities and energy 157 specialists.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that nearly 10,000 unemployed Kazakhstani citizens over 50 have found work since the beginning of the year under the "Silver Age" project. To make it more profitable for employers to hire older workers, the state covers part of their salaries.
