Samsung has announced its next-generation smartwatches — the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 — featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, displays with peak brightness up to 5000 nits, and improved battery life, according to infohub.kz.
The 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for extreme sports. It is Samsung's first watch to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite platform. The case is 12% thinner than its predecessor. The battery capacity is 800 mAh, a 35% increase, and peak screen brightness reaches 5000 nits. A dedicated Trail Run mode for trail running displays elevation changes and climbing progress in real time.
The second model, the Galaxy Watch9, is aimed at everyday fitness tracking. Both devices act as personal AI assistants, analyzing user vitals and delivering timely health alerts. The new wearables were unveiled at Samsung's summer Galaxy Unpacked event.
