A trained sheep named Sargul from Kokshetau has won over social media users: the animal follows its owner's commands and jumps when called, just like a dog. The video of the new star of the Kazakh internet was posted by the owner's daughter, and in less than a week it has garnered nearly 100,000 likes, infohub.kz reports.

The sheep's owner, 68-year-old Temerbulat Zhusupov, said he fed his favorite with a milk formula from the pharmacy, and perhaps that is why she considers him her parent. Sargul lives separately from her kin along with chicks and is noted to have a difficult character. Her main friends are cats and chickens.

Sargul has become so beloved by Kazakhstanis that people in the comments are asking not to let the star be used for sogym.

“In 2024, her mother gave birth to twins, but she rejected this one and abandoned her. The frosts that year were terrible, so I had to feed her. She has been jumping all summer—I didn't know about it, then I thought: I'll take a photo for the kids, let them joke, and then it just took off,” the sheep's owner said.
