In 2025, the renowned Saryagash Sanatorium, located in the Turkistan Region, managed to increase its profit by 75%, reaching 269.5 million tenge, reports infohub.kz.

The main growth driver was a sharp increase in revenue from the sale of goods and services, primarily from rehabilitation and wellness services. Revenue jumped by 228 million tenge, reaching 2.6 billion tenge. At the same time, the cost of services remained almost at the previous year's level – 1.8 billion tenge.

The sanatorium's administrative expenses increased, but not as significantly – by 112 million tenge, to 449 million tenge. Selling expenses, on the contrary, decreased to 21.6 million tenge. In addition, the sanatorium is exempt from income tax.

Auditors noted that the report does not reflect information on the implementation of the investment project for the construction of the Magic Wave water park, which was opened in June 2026.

Remuneration to the sanatorium's managers amounted to 26 million tenge. Of this, 10.6 million tenge was received by Ruslan Duisenov, who served as director until July, and 15.7 million tenge – by Altynbek Abdikerov.

The sanatorium is 100% owned by the Department of Finance and State Assets of the Turkistan Region.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the Sosnovy Bor sanatorium received 181.8 million tenge in profit for 2025, while in 2024 this figure was 229.9 million tenge.
