Sati Kazanova, the 43-year-old former lead singer of the Russian pop group Fabrika, has finally revealed the name of her daughter, born in the fall of 2024. The singer shared the joyful news with her followers on Instagram, posting a touching photo of herself holding the baby, reports infohub.kz.
Kazanova admitted that this was an emotional moment for her and explained why she and her husband kept the name a secret for so long: "We wanted to give our daughter time to enter this world peacefully, to grow stronger. A name carries meaning, blessing, and a certain power, so we treated this moment with great care."
The girl has been named Anagha. In the Vedic tradition, the choice of a name is not accidental; it reflects the aspirations of the personality and deep qualities of the soul. From Sanskrit, the name translates as 'innocent,' 'pure,' 'immaculate,' 'perfect,' 'loving,' and 'compassionate.' Additionally, it is one of the names of Goddess Mahalakshmi, which, according to the singer, makes the name especially significant.
Kazanova also noted that attentive fans could have guessed the name in advance: last year, her album Lineage included a lullaby titled 'Lullaby For Anagha,' which at the time seemed like just a beautiful Sanskrit word but actually held deep meaning. "Welcome to this world, our beloved Anagha. May your name always remind you of the light, love, and purity with which you came into our lives," she concluded.
