A Saudi prince was found dead in a luxury hotel in London — the deceased had a history of addiction, according to infohub.kz.
Investigators determined that the cause of death was a heart attack triggered by the interaction of alcohol and drugs. The prince had long struggled with alcohol and substance abuse. Three months before his death, he had undergone inpatient treatment at a specialized clinic in London.
His body was discovered in the bathroom of a room at the five-star Marriott hotel, where room rates are about £600 per night.
Media outlets have only now released information about the prince's death, even though the incident occurred last November. The case has already been heard in court.
The man was a distant relative of the King of Saudi Arabia — one of the descendants of the king's great-grandfather.
