A SCAT Airlines flight en route from Medina to Almaty made an emergency landing in Oman after a passenger's health deteriorated suddenly, according to the website infohub.kz.
The incident occurred during the flight from Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan. According to readers, a passenger fell ill, and the captain decided to land at an alternate airport in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
After landing, the passenger was handed over to local medical services and hospitalized. The remaining passengers continued their journey after refueling and necessary procedures.
The airline's press service confirmed the incident. They noted that first aid was provided to the passenger on board, but it was decided to land for further medical care. "The safety, life, and health of passengers are the airline's absolute priority," the company emphasized.
