Sensata Holding, a construction group owned by the private company Sensata Astana Ltd., reported a net profit of KZT 2.3 billion for January–June 2026. By comparison, the figure stood at KZT 1.4 billion in the same period a year earlier, marking a 1.6-fold increase year on year, according to the company's financial statements, as reported by infohub.kz.
Sensata Holding's revenue for the first half of 2026, however, came in at KZT 69.8 million, down 3.8-fold from KZT 268.4 million a year earlier. The company's financial income shrank 1,100-fold, from KZT 2 billion to KZT 1.8 million. At the same time, other income surged from KZT 5.7 million to KZT 4 billion, a 707.7-fold jump.
Sensata Holding is wholly owned by Sensata Astana Ltd., a private company registered at the Astana International Financial Centre. Maksim Mikhaylov heads both entities.
Sensata Astana Ltd., in turn, is owned by Sensata Ltd., which is also led by Maksim Mikhaylov. The co-owners of the private company Sensata Ltd. are entrepreneur Tasbolat Abdullin, who served as deputy chairman of the board for development at BI Group in the 2010s, and Askar Duysenbayev.
A few days earlier, another construction company they own, Sensata Construction, reported a loss of KZT 1.1 billion for 2025, according to its annual financial statements. By comparison, it posted a profit of KZT 4.3 billion in 2024.
