Sergey Zhukov, the lead singer of the Russian band Ruki Vverh, shared his impressions of performing in the Kazakh city of Ekibastuz. The concert, dedicated to Railway Workers' Day, drew around 100,000 spectators, according to infohub.kz.
In his Instagram account, Zhukov noted that this concert was special for him. "You greeted us so warmly and sang every song with such power that it felt like another anniversary show in terms of scale, emotion, and sheer energy. It was a true celebration that set my soul on fire. Thank you for this incredibly warm welcome, your smiles, and that giant wave of happiness," the musician wrote.
Kazakh fans also expressed their gratitude in the comments, calling his songs a "time machine." One user wrote: "We traveled from Ust-Kamenogorsk, 700 kilometers away, just to see Sergey live and fulfill a childhood dream—to sing along with him the songs that accompanied our loves, breakups, friendships, and hopes."
Another fan admitted: "I had been waiting for this concert since childhood. It was a dream that finally came true. We grew up on your songs. We rewound cassettes with a pencil, copied lyrics into songbooks, threw discos, and knew every line by heart. These melodies became part of our childhood and youth."
