American David Rush, together with his wife and sons, has set a world record for the fastest game of Hungry Hungry Hippos, marking his 200th active Guinness World Record title, reports infohub.kz.
David Rush, a well-known serial record-breaker from Idaho, teamed up with his wife Jennifer and their two sons, Jeremy and Peter, to break another Guinness World Record. The family of four attempted to clear the game board of the tabletop game Hungry Hungry Hippos as quickly as possible. The previous best time for a team was 4.833 seconds.
According to the official rules of the challenge, the game must be original and unmodified, and participants' hands must lie flat on a level table before the start. Pressing the hippo's lever was allowed strictly with one finger. Changing fingers or a ball bouncing off the table would result in immediate disqualification of the attempt.
The Rush family successfully completed the task in 3.75 seconds. The achievement, set in November 2025, was officially certified by Guinness World Records. This result became David Rush's 200th simultaneously held title, making him the third person in history to achieve this feat.
