Seven people died in a road accident on the Shayan — Yekpindi highway in the Turkistan region, reports infohub.kz.
The fatal crash occurred at night. According to preliminary data, a Toyota Camry and a Volkswagen Passat collided on the road in the Baidibek district.
Seven people died at the scene, the regional police department said.
"Currently, necessary investigative and procedural actions are being taken to establish all circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the investigation, an appropriate procedural decision will be made in accordance with the law," police said.
