Storm warnings have been issued for September 22 in 15 regions of Kazakhstan, as well as in Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent. Fog, rain, thunderstorms, and wind gusts up to 20 meters per second are expected in the regions, while extreme fire danger persists, according to infohub.kz.
In Astana, according to the Republican State Enterprise "Kazhydromet," high fire danger will persist.
In the southeast and mountainous areas of Almaty Region, gusts of north and northeast wind will occasionally reach 15–20 meters per second. Extreme fire danger will persist across the region and in Konaev. In Almaty, high fire danger is expected, with wind intensifying to 18 meters per second at night in the city's mountainous areas.
In the mountainous areas of Turkistan Region, northeast wind will intensify to 15–20 meters per second during the day. Extreme fire danger will persist across the region, as well as in Shymkent and Turkistan.
In Karaganda Region, fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the north and east. During the day, in the south and east, gusts of north and northeast wind will reach 15–20 meters per second. In the west, north, and east of the region, as well as in Karaganda, extreme fire danger will persist.

In Atyrau Region, rain and thunderstorms are forecast at night in the west and north, while light rain with thunderstorms is expected during the day in the north and south. Earlier, "Kursiv" reported that over the next three days, daytime temperatures in Kazakhstan will range from +13…+23°C in the east to +25…+32°C in the west and southeast of the country.
