A 65-year-old man died in Shymkent after a fight with his neighbor. The conflict arose over a car parked near the gate of his house, according to infohub.kz.

Earlier that day, Khursanbek Tursynkulov had been spending time with his grandchildren; by evening, relatives were informed of his death. The moment of the conflict was captured by a surveillance camera.

According to preliminary information, the 39-year-old neighbor parked his car near the pensioner's gate. The homeowner went out to reprimand him. The verbal altercation escalated into a fight, during which the man received several blows and fell onto the asphalt. The entire incident occurred in front of his six-year-old granddaughter.

"After the blow, he fell, and the other man walked away. Then, when he had already reached the middle of the road, he calmly returned, took the air conditioner that was at the house, and calmly went into his own home and opened the gate. His house is on the other side, but he wanted to park the car here, on this side. That's what they argued about, they were constantly in conflict," said Aynisa Zhapparkulova, a relative of the deceased.

According to local residents, the suspect had previously clashed with neighbors. They also claim he had been seen intoxicated multiple times.

"He's not a good person. He has a scandalous character. He drinks alcohol and other things. That's why most people couldn't get along with him," said local resident Bakhadyr Islamov.

Doctors who arrived at the scene pronounced the pensioner dead. The suspect was detained shortly after the incident.

"The victim died at the scene from the injuries sustained. The suspect was identified through immediate investigative efforts and detained," said Nurlybek Alibekuly, deputy head of the criminal police department of the Shymkent Police Department.

The investigation is awaiting the results of forensic examinations. Once they are received, the detainee's actions will be given a legal assessment. Relatives of the deceased are demanding an objective investigation and that the guilty party be held accountable.
